AOR Requirements

Below are prerequisites for all OCONUS Field Studies. All AOR’s require completion of SERE 100, ISOPREP, AT/FP Level I.  SouthCom requires the addition of Human Rights and their General Order Number 1.

EMAIL COMPLETION DATES ONCE FINISHED..Staff emailing dates? Please be sure to CC the Capstone Fellow.  Do not email, fax, or bring completion certificates, we do not need/keep copies.

THESE PRE-REQUISITES ARE INDIVIDUAL/SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES AS PUBLISHED IN THE DOD FOREIGN CLEARANCE GUIDE AT HTTPS://WWW.FCG.PENTAGON.MIL. WE PROVIDE THE BELOW LINKS AS ASSISTANCE. YOU CAN COMPLETE THEM FROM ANY SOURCE YOU CAN FIND.

**Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) 100.1: (ALL CoComs) THIS COURSE TAKES 6-8 HOURS TO COMPLETE.

COMPLETION REQUIREMENT: 2 years prior to course graduation date

-A CAC card is required for this training. Click on http://jko.jten.mil to begin registration (Navy and Marines can also use NKO or MarineNet-info below). If you do not have a CAC card, please follow the instructions for Non CAC users.

-Access NKO (for Navy personnel): https://www.nko.navy.mil/portal/home. (Access this site for SERE 100.1; course number JKDDC-Level-A-COCT-100.1)

-Access MarineNet (for Marine personnel): https://www.marinenet.usmc.mil/marinenet.  Access this site for SERE 100.1; course number JTSERE100A)

Graduated SERE Level C in-resident course? You still must complete Level A. APACS requires a refresher training within 2 years of traveling.

**Isolated Personnel Report (ISOPREP): (ALL CoComs)

COMPLETION REQUIREMENT: 6 months prior to course graduation date

ISOPREPS must be created or reviewed no earlier than six months prior to completion of overseas travel. If unable to access SIPRNET and you have access to AKO, complete/submit the ISOPREP via the Army Knowledge On-Line (AKO) PRO-File tool located on the NIPRNET at: https://www.us.army.mil or https://medinah.sed.apg.army.mil/PRO-File/index.asp. DoD civilians and contractors will need a service member or sponsor CAC card to access Army Knowledge On-Line PRO-File web tool. Use normal AKO (or service equivalent) log in to access site. Civilians, never use ISOPREP? You can use whatever your organization uses for this purpose.

**Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (ATFP) Level 1: (ALL CoComs)

COMPLETION REQUIREMENT: 1 year prior to course graduation date

Antiterrorism Level I Training resides on Joint Knowledge Online (JKO, http://jko.jten.mil) and can be reached via the following site: https://jkodirect.jten.mil.  Enroll in Course # JS-US007-14 to receive the training.  If you do not have a CAC card, please follow the instructions for Non CAC users.

**Human Rights Training: (WHEM/SOUTHCOM TRIP ONLY)

COMPLETION REQUIREMENT: 6 months prior to course graduation date

Human Rights Training / confirmation that you have read SouthCom General Order Number 1 are required for visits to the SOUTHCOM AOR.
